Repository in the Premonstratensian Monastery in Milevsko 2024

The Milevsko Monastery complex has been undergoing long-term renovations. We are gradually repairing different parts of the monastery, but due to the extensive size of the complex and limited resources, we are proceeding in stages. We have now moved on to the restoration of an area that was historically used as a granary and will serve as a repository in the future.

This project involves the restoration of the former granary building located in the second courtyard of the Premonstratensian Monastery in Milevsko. The building is currently in a very poor structural and technical condition. After complete renovation, it will be used as a repository. The project aims to revitalize this national cultural monument, contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage. The project is co-financed by the European Union. Work on this project will begin in the fall of 2024. We extend our gratitude to all who support the restoration of the Milevsko Monastery.
