The Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ 2024
On Thursday, May 30, 2024, the entire church celebrated the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ, commonly known as Corpus Christi. It is usually celebrated in the cathedral, but this year it wasn't possible, so the archbishop accepted our invitation and celebrated the feast within our community.
Created on: 31. 5. 2024
The Holy Mass began at 5 PM and was followed by a procession to three outdoor altars: at the Church of St. Roch, at the Ecce Homo column, and another in the Abbot's Garden. Then the procession returned to the monastery basilica and concluded the celebration with the singing of the Te Deum and a solemn blessing.
We are grateful to Mrs. Lucie Horníková from the organization Člověk a víra for the photographs.
