The Celebration of the Holy Nail in Milevsko 2024
Every year in Milevsko, on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, a solemn vespers is held in honor of the Holy Nail from the Cross, which was discovered at the turn of 2020 and 2021 in the premises of the Church of St. Giles in the Milevsko Monastery.

The solemn vespers in the Milevsko Basilica of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary were led by Strahov Abbot Daniel Peter Janáček and began on September 13, 2024, at 5 PM. Our Strahov community attended these vespers and accompanied them with our singing. Believers from the surrounding area were also invited to the event, and a significant number accepted the invitation.
On Saturday morning, a lecture on the topic of the Holy Nail was held in the premises of the Latin School. We thank Mr. Martin Čech for the photographs.
