The Strahov Monastery was honored this year, 2024, by hosting the participants of the General Chapter of the Premonstratensian Order, which took place from July 23 to August 3, 2024, within its walls.

The General Chapter of the Order was held at the Strahov Monastery for the first time in 110 years. These meetings of abbots and other delegates serve the purpose of discussing crucial organizational matters as well as the future direction of the Order on a global platform. Each day of the Chapter has its own character, and the liturgy is celebrated in various languages. In total, around 110 chapter members gathered at Strahov.
