General Chapter of the Order

In our order, it is customary to hold a General Chapter every four years. This year, the Strahov Abbey will have the honor of hosting this significant event within its premises. We expect around 120 abbots from monasteries around the world to attend.

The General Chapter is a space for dialogue and decision-making on key matters important for the future direction of the order.
Due to the fact that this event will affect a large part of the Strahov Monastery, the Strahov Gallery will not be open during the event. The Strahov Library will remain open to visitors without any changes.
