Schedule of services

Below is the schedule of services in the Monastery Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary at Strahov. Our parish also includes the Capuchin order's monastic churches, namely the Church of the Nativity of the Lord at Loreta and the Monastic Church of the Queen of Angels.

In the liturgy, especially in the Holy Eucharistic sacrifice, “the work of our redemption is accomplished”; thus, the liturgy contributes supremely to enabling the faithful to express and manifest to others the mystery of Christ and the true nature of the real church. It is both human and divine, visible and yet endowed with invisible values, zealously active and devoted to contemplation, present in the world, and yet merely passing through... (From the constitution Sacrosanctum Concilium)
