Our historic halls not only preserve the heritage of the past but can also serve as venues for educational, spiritual, pastoral, cultural, corporate, and private events today. We are delighted to support these activities, which bring value and respect the historical and spiritual mission of our site. We are open to collaboration with organizations and individuals and believe that sharing these spaces contributes to the enrichment of society and the development of ideas.

Commercial Rentals of Historic Halls

We offer these spaces with a unique atmosphere for short-term rental. We value respect for the environment. The use of the venue is permitted only until 11:00 PM.

Summer Refectory

The dining hall, dating back to 1691, was designed by the Burgundian architect Jean Baptiste Mathey. The walls feature portraits of notable figures associated with the monastery from the late 17th century. The lectern on the wall was used for reading during meals. The vault is adorned with a fresco by Premonstratensian and painter Siard Nosecký (1693–1753), depicting the "Heavenly Banquet of the Righteous with Christ as Host" from 1743–1745.

The rental includes facilities (WC, corridors, catering/cloakroom/administrative facilities), a separate entrance, and basic equipment.

The venue is suitable for cultural events (concerts), educational events, seminars, spiritual gatherings, significant meetings and conferences, corporate presentations, gala dinners, receptions, and wedding receptions.

The Summer Refectory is a historic dining hall from the late 17th century.

Winter Refectory

The dining hall, built in the late 17th century for convent members to dine during the cold months. The vault of the hall is adorned with stucco decorations, and the front wall features a painting by Johann Georg Heintsch (1647–1712) depicting Christ being served by angels after fasting. This painting was originally intended for the refectory of the Jesuit professed house in Malá Strana, Prague, and was placed in Strahov at the end of the 18th century.

The Winter Refectory is the original dining hall for convent members during the winter period.
